VTX RAD MINI 5.8G 1W GEPRC

GEPRC RAD MINI 5.8G 1W VTX is a 5.8 GHz analog video transmitter for compatible FPV drones and other radio-controlled equipment. It is used to transmit a video signal from the camera during hobby, training, and sports flights, provided it is compatible with the specific FPV system.

RAD MINI supports 4 output power levels: PitMode/25 mW/200 mW/500 mW/1000 mW. The housing is made of 6061 aluminum alloy and is used for heat dissipation during operation.

The video transmitter supports the IRC Tramp protocol and configuration via OSD, provided it is compatible with the flight controller. A built-in microphone is also provided for transmitting audio, if this function is supported by the configuration.

The input voltage range is 7-28 V. An overheat protection function is provided, but sufficient cooling must be ensured and a compatible antenna must be installed before powering on for correct operation.

The PCB mounting holes have a 20x20 mm format, with a hole diameter of 3.05 mm. The aluminum housing can be removed if needed for installation in a suitable build. During installation, it is necessary to ensure board insulation and use the included nylon washers.

Compatibility
Before installation, it is necessary to check the video transmitter’s compatibility with the flight controller, camera, antenna, power supply, mounting holes, VTX control protocol, and frequency settings. Use of the video transmitter must comply with local rules and permitted parameters for radio frequency equipment.

Attention 
Be sure to install a compatible antenna before powering on. 
To reduce the risk of overheating, ensure air circulation and sufficient cooling during operation.
An additional cooling fan may be required in enclosed builds.
The 5 V output is intended only for powering a compatible camera or cooling fan.
Do not connect the power input or battery to the 5 V output, as this may damage the VTX.
