VTX GEPRC RAD Whoop 5.8G

GEPRC RAD Whoop 5.8G VTX is a 5.8 GHz analog video transmitter for compatible whoop FPV drones and other radio-controlled equipment. It is used to transmit a video signal from the camera during hobby, training, and sports flights, provided it is compatible with the specific FPV system.

The video transmitter has PitMode/25 mW/200 mW/400 mW power modes. The IRC Tramp control protocol and parameter configuration via OSD are supported, provided it is compatible with the flight controller. An overheat protection function is also provided.

A UFL connector is used for antenna connection, and an SH1.0 connector is used for the cable. The mounting holes are compatible with the 25.5 mm-26.5 mm format. The board has four RGB LEDs that can be configured through a compatible flight controller.

Compatibility
Before installation, it is necessary to check the video transmitter’s compatibility with the flight controller, camera, antenna, power supply, mounting holes, VTX control protocol, and frequency settings. Use of the video transmitter must comply with local rules and permitted parameters for radio frequency equipment.

Attention
Be sure to install a compatible antenna before powering on.
In case of overheating, the protection may activate, after which the output power will automatically decrease.
During operation, it is necessary to ensure ventilation and sufficient cooling of the video transmitter.
An additional cooling fan may be required in enclosed builds.
The 5 V OUT output is intended only for powering a compatible camera or cooling fan.
Do not connect the power input or battery to the 5 V output, as this may damage the VTX.
